Time
Brazil is a very large country with different time zones. In Bahia it’s 4 to 5 hours earlier than in Europe, 3 to 4 hours later than in the US or Canada.
Climate
From October to April the Bahian coast enjoys a relatively dry climate with occasional heavy rain showers. The rainy season runs from May to September. Daytime temperatures in winter are around 24° C, in the summer it is around 31° C. The constant sea breeze makes even the highest temperatures very bearable. Unlike other tropical destinations, Brazil has a quiet climate. Hurricanes are never blown out this direction and earthquakes or tsunamis are not common.
